Launched just three years ago in the stunning Orkney Islands, Polycroo was born from a simple but powerful idea: to create a greener, more self-sustainable, and healthier future for people around the world. What started as a local venture has now blossomed into something much bigger, and we are proud to see our products making a difference in homes, schools, hospitals, and communities in Orkney and soon to be far beyond Orkney.
At Polycroo, we cater to a wide range of customers—from domestic households looking to grow their own food, to schools where children are learning about sustainability, and hospitals using our products to improve patient health. Our passion for sustainability drives us, and nothing makes us prouder than seeing children learning how to grow their own food in a sustainable and healthy way. Watching young people get their hands dirty in the soil, planting seeds, and understanding the value of homegrown food is truly inspiring. These early lessons in self-sufficiency are key to creating a brighter, greener future for generations to come.
We’re also committed to supporting hospitals and healthcare providers. Our polytunnels are not just about growing food; they can also provide health benefits, helping patients experience quicker recovery times through access to fresh air, sunlight, and therapeutic spaces.
